In the Earth Laughs In Flowers series I am influenced by the well-minded terrain of botanical imagery. Colour and form will always be my focus but I also wish to unearth the textural qualities of a form that may have previously escaped scrutiny. Each painting exists in a distinct place and time which are responding to the pull of light, gravity and water.
