I made this piece expecting to do an addition of 9. Unfortunately, the moulds were destroyed in a wildfire that swept through the foundry in Southern Oregon. Thus, she is now 1 of 1. Somehow this back story seems appropriate because her resilience is at the heart of what I was trying to capture.
