Recent months, or what I think of as “Covid Times“ have challenged all of us in many ways. I found myself struggling with being able to paint and it is my understanding that this is not unique to me. It is not the first time that I have been “stuck” but never for so long, especially when I have had more opportunity than usual in which to paint. How many times as an artist have you heard or talked about “letting go of the outcome”, allowing yourself to play” or “painting for yourself”? Worthwhile concepts but so hard to really
