Membership with the Federation is based on the calendar year (Jan 1 - Dec. 31). All memberships expire on December 31. Renewals may be done online (click the "Renew your Membership" button below) between October 1 and the end of February. After that you will need to phone the office (604-681-2740) or mail a cheque. 

We strongly encourage our members to pay their membership dues online. Paying online will ensure a seamless transaction and your membership is instantly updated. We also accept payments via cheque, over the phone, and in person at the Federation Gallery.

Expired? If your membership has expired please give the office a call or send an email. We can get you back on the list, no troubles.

*Note: Expired Active and Signature Status - if your membership lapsed more than a year ago your options are to either pay for the lapsed year(s) of membership to maintain your status or you may choose to start over as a Supporting member and go through the jurying process again.

Chapter Affiliation:

Federation members may choose to participate in local activities if there is a Federation Chapter nearby. For a full list of Chapters please find our Chapter list here.

If there is no Chapter in your area you may want to consider starting one! Federation staff can help you throughout the process.

Being affiliated with a Chapter does cost a little more, but the social connection you'll have, as well as local exhibitions and workshops are well worth the few extra dollars.
