An experiment in the use of the golden mean. This painting was influenced by mathematics to select the colour palette, to determine the scale and placement of collage elements, and the angles of rotation used. It was exciting to see how mathematics and aesthetics together influenced the creation of this piece. The texture and value/saturation/hue placements in this piece elevate it beyond the pure mathematical influence of the golden mean.
