BREAKFAST AT THE PIONEER CAFÉ
Last summer my husband Chris and I spent an adventuresome two weeks making our way up Canada’s west coast to Alaska. We were boat camping and exploring with our open 22-foot boat Northern Freedom.
After many days of high adventure, charmed by whales and sea birds, buffeted by winds and currents, we found ourselves in a small and timeless café in Ketchikan, Alaska. Everything about this delightful resting place filled us with appreciation and cried out to be painted.
